Election Dates

•Early voting begins for the preferential primary election and shall be available between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. 

•Early voting ends at 5:00 p.m. on the Monday prior to the election.

•Annual school election (if held in May)

•Deadline to apply to register to vote – Sunday,     April 24, 2022*

*Deadlines that fall on a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday will advance to the next business day, per Ark. Code § 7-1-108. For this publication, the Office of the Secretary of State has interpreted “legal holiday” as being an official state holiday and an official federal holiday in which the deadline is affected by the availability of mail services through the United States Postal Service.
